I realized that...

This place is no longer safe! ahahhaha. Why? Let me keep that to myself. Anyway, as I've mentioned in one of the previous posts how I don't need any new year's resolution since I can't seem to get a hold of it, proves itself right with the semi-hiatus I have been in on posting up entries here. The "sloth"ness in me can't seem to be cured. Even more with this long break, it piles up on top of one another. Guess I'd just have to cherish that. =D

So, the other day, I purchased something in a store. I had to choose one from two choices. The first choice is, it looks stunningly good with less function whereas the other one looks unattractive yet has massive capabilities. Since it requires some big bucks, I had to make the right choice as to not regret it in the future days. So there I was staring at both items having a hard time to choose. If I choose the first one, my eyes would be satisfied but my expectations are not met. And if I choose the other one, I'll be enjoying the wellness of it but would have to bear its unpleasant look. So after a few of this and that, picking it up, putting it down, twirling it around, open and closing it, I decided to proceed with the second choice - unattractive look with massive capabilities. As soon as I came home, I took the time to explore and get to know more about it and had myself indulged into it as the new foundings were truly pleasant. And now I can't seem to put it down! What I'm trying to say is that I've learn an important value with this experience. I've come to understand that, it's not about the satisfaction of your eyes but how happy your heart can be. And I guess it applies to everything that we do. Sometimes we're easily fooled by the first glance, but when we take the time to sit down and understand the good and bad of the other choices that we have, we'd be able to grasp the whole beautifulness of it and make the right decision. Well, it's not like we never make mistakes and make wrong choices, but we can always try not to right? Hee~

Anyway, I went to UIA last week for the BAKSIS 2009 meeting. We're off to Penang this year for a week before the new semester starts. Can't wait! =D
